Laptop Cordless Mouse - Expensive Models, Are They Worth It?

It's good to know the pros and cons of buying a cheap laptop cordless mouse if you are shopping in a budget.

There are times that it's wise to invest more. Consider this. Would it be worth it to go and buy the first cheap laptop cordless mouse that you see in the store? With a little planning you can maybe go to a couple of stores or browse online to check what's available. Chances are that a major brand like Logitech has a promotion on a new mouse.

Even if the offer is a couple of bucks more expensive that the cheap generic one, you are better off with the one on offer simply because it's a better brand. Better brands usually give you more warranty and also their products are usually better quality.

Cheap and inexpensive laptop cordless mouses do get the job done. Maybe you don't even need all the advanced functions that expensive models offer, specially if you are on a budget. Also, they have everything you need to browse the web.

A good thing about a cheap laptop cordless mouse is that when it breaks, you can buy another one. But imaging you buy a mouse for $90 and it gets broken, and the warranty doesn't cover it. That can hurt, unless you have deep pockets.

Now, if you want to use the mouse to give presentations on your job, then buy a good one. Remember, with cheap stuff usually have a big downside, that being for a wireless mouse, reception. You don't want to be in the middle of your presentation when all of a sudden you lose reception.

If you like to play first person shooter games then I don't recommend a cheap laptop cordless mouse because of its accuracy (unless you are in a tight budget, of course). These cheap mouse tend to pick the wrong signal, making your gun (for the game) point in different directions. You'll be losing all the time.

If you are on a budget, don't care about all the advanced features expensive laptop cordless mouse have, are not a hardcore gamer, and don't care about appearance, then you are going to be happy purchasing an inexpensive laptop cordless mouse.
